I remember exactly how overwhelming it felt to be a new believer holding a Bible that sometimes seemed to contradict itself. I spent 18 years walking with Jesus and studying difficult passages. That journey led me to write The Way Through, a guide to help people like you navigate the confusing parts of Scripture without losing your faith.

The questions you're carrying are not a sign that your faith is weak. They're a sign that you're taking it seriously. This guide is my way of sitting down with you, opening the Bible together, and working through the parts that feel confusing or even troubling, so you can keep moving forward with confidence.

The Stories We Would Rather Skip

The Bible calls Abraham, David, and Peter heroes of the faith, then shows them lying, committing adultery and murder, and denying Jesus. Scripture hides none of it. Most of us either skip those chapters or carry a quiet guilt for being troubled by them. Neither response is honest, and neither one is necessary.

This chapter faces those stories directly. It looks at what is happening in them, why God left them in the record instead of cleaning them up, and how to read the failures of faithful people without excusing the sin or losing your footing. Being troubled by David abusing his power is not weak faith. It is your conscience working the way God made it to.
